Welcome to Our New Members

On Thursday, November 14th, the Beta Nu Chapter was excited and honored to officially welcome 37 new members.

Celebrating 50 Years

On April 6, 1974 at 2:00 p.m., installation of the new Beta Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau was held in the East Carolina University College of Nursing.

Mrs. Virginia George, Treasurer of Sigma Theta Tau, conducted the ceremony. Since that day, Beta Nu has inducted more than 2600 members and has an active roster of about 400 members. Beta Nu has the distinction as one of three chapters world-wide to have received 16 Chapter Key Awards presented by Sigma Theta Tau to chapters achieving exemplary scholarship and service to the profession.

We are excited to celebrate 50 wonderful years as a chapter. Photos below are from the first induction.
